What's up with my plant?

#Impatiens I bought this plant at Kroger where it was displayed with plants I know are full sun plants. I put on the bottom shelf of an ESE facing plant stand (with two shelves above it and a shade tree in front but it still gets some sun. A few hours after I got it, it was completely wilted - and not from lack of water. It's still wet enough two days after being moved to the shade of our porch. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
I forgot to say, I'm in SW OH, where it's been in the high 70s-mid 80s with high humidity, heavy thunderstorms, showers or drizzle the last few days. Maybe it's the heat? The top of the dirt (maybe 1/4"?) is crunchy dry but it's moist if you press on it
These are usually potted in straight peat. Give it a good soak… it’s either overwatered or unwatered . But I bet when you do water it the water runs right through it .
I had the same thing happen to my Impatiens last year and removed them. These Impatiens need as much shade as possible. If they get too much sun they will stay wilted.
