Hi Shelley, The Peace Lily is commonly known for its dramatic drooping when thirsty. The yellow leaves indicate a moisture imbalance, likely from overwatering that leads to root suffocation, or inconsistent watering schedules. To help the plant, prune the yellow and dead leaves, check for root rot, and ensure the soil is allowed to dry slightly between waterings. If the plant is crowded, repotting into a slightly larger pot with fresh, well-draining soil may be necessary. How often are you watering, and what kind of soil do you have it in? Also, Iβm thinking that a 4 inch pot might be too small.
