Hydrangea Died Overnight

Can someone explain why she died overnight? I bought her yesterday from Trader Joe's around 3PM. It's now 3PM next day and she's completely dead. She's still in some soil too. Am I able to save her ?! Like repotting or something?! 😢🥺 Advice is grateful appreciated!!! #Hydrangea #SadPlant #help

Did you give her a good soak? If she doesn’t rebound, TJs will take her back I’m sure 👍🏻

@debbiedo I just gave her a nice soak. Hopefully she revives. I wanted to give her to my Mother as a gift for she loves Hydrangeas. Thank you for your advice!
