Painter’s Palettes are slow growers, I have 6 of them 🀭 Patience is the key. I also never cut the spathe (the part that looks like a flower) when it starts wilting. They usually turn brown and then the stem just pops off on its own. New ones will grow, but it takes quite a while. They are very much worth the wait though! Just keep giving it proper care and it will reward you with more blooms πŸ’š
I'm no expert but I have three that "flower" all year round ☺️ I give them nice prunes of anything dying or damaged, but wait tell I know for sure there spathes are dead and not producing Berry's as I like to cross pollinate ☺️ to promote blooms ,move plant to a bright place ,such as filtered light from south or west windows.after the buds open move it to lower light.and fertilize with one higher in phosphorus then nitrogen.
But really they all seem to bloom like crazy all year for me and are the one plant in the least amount of light πŸ€” the older my plant is the more it blooms as they don't hit maturity tell one year
