@JustifiedPhalsa The best way to know if a pot is too small for your plant is by looking at the roots. If you can see that the roots are starting to grow out from the bottom of the pot, or if you can feel them pushing against the sides of the pot, it means that it's too small for your plant. The root ball should fit comfortably in the pot with at least an inch of room at the bottom and sides for soil. How long has it been in the 3 inch pot? If it’s been a year, I’d move it to a 5 inch pot.
I just adopted it actually and the root ball forts comfortably in there space I was worried because I also own a avocado plant and those plants are very specific when it comes to the pot size and I’ve messed it up a few times. Thank you for this I think it’s perfect in its small pot!
When I have to water my plants too frequently, then it's root bound.
