Your plant looks very healthy. When a plant is stretching out it is reaching for the sun. This little darling will need 6 to 8 hours of sun light to maintain a more compact size. I see by the profile that you have it in direct sunlight so I'm not sure. Maybe someone else here has some advice for you. SUGGESTION for posting. You should include a few hash tags to your post for better exposure. I will add some for you. #happyplants #echeveria #succulentsquad
My east facing windows were not sufficient to satisfy the hearty appetite for sunlight my succulents had. I do not have a southern facing window available, so I ended up letting them (metaphorically) run free outside, where they are much happier. My 1st guess would be she is wanting more light, like @Stall54Jo has advised. Perhaps consider relocating to a Southern facing window and see if things improve.
Echeveria get leggy when they do not have adequate sunlight. You will also keep them happy by placing them in a shallow pot that is 10% larger than their growth!
Thank you all! I did recently add another grow light. I now have one clipped to each side of the window sill. The new one has two arms so they are getting much more light. I don't have a southern facing window to move them to. I also live in Northeast Ohio where the weather is very unpredictable so im not sure about outside. @JauntyGrandfir does that mean 10% bigger around than her leaves? Will she always stay leggy now that the damage was there?
@LordBabyjumpup Than her leaves, yes. She will stay leggy so what you can do is basically propagation where you trim the rosette off the stem and once it calluses you can plant her and she will grow a root network again! It’s an easy fix so don’t stress it.
@LordBabyjumpup I should add, don’t water for two weeks after placing her in soil!
