Drooping Marigolds

So my marigolds seemed to be coming along well I moved them so they weren’t so bunched together in the one pot and now some are dropping? What should I do? I watered them yesterday and am waiting for the top inch to dry out to water again. I also am wondering if I need to do something to get flowers? Or if I’m doing something wrong, apologize new to plants and this was my first time growing seeds #marigold #advice #planthelp

Your marigolds are likely drooping due to transplant shock or stress from being moved. Make sure they’re getting enough water but avoid overwatering; let the top inch of soil dry before watering again. Ensure they are in a spot with enough sunlight, as marigolds thrive in full sun. Adding a balanced fertilizer could help encourage flowering. Monitor them closely, and they should recover as they adjust to their new environment.
@Gustavo thank you! Do you have recommendations for things I can use to provide fertilizer or what is best? I have dirt from a farm currently
@Iatan I usually go organic, but I encourage you to do your research. I use something called Bokashi :)
