Blue Chalksticks turning dark at base.

My Blue Chalksticks has been looking rough for quite a while, but now it’s gotten wrinkled and dark at the base. Should I cut it an try to propagate it or is there something better to do? I don’t really have enough light for succulents, but I’d like to at least keep it alive. Thank you!! #SucculentSquad #Succulents #BlueChalkSticks

I cut mine. I also stopped watering as much.
@Mell Do they propagate easily? I’ve been thinking about cutting it for a while now.
@bluebladeliger yep…I just stuck it right in the soil and it did fine.
@Mell Great, thank you! I’ll try that!
Let me know how it works out!
@Mell Thanks! I’ll keep you updated!!
It seems like it is rotting at the bottom. As other said, you just can cut it and propagate that cutting again. It is very easy to propagate this #Succulent . I’ve got mine as a cutting couple months ago, and just put it into dry soil. Now this plant has roots.
@Mell I just cut it up into three pieces and put rooting hormone on the ends. I got rid of the bottom part because it did appear to be rotting.
@bluebladeliger sounds good! Let it dry out a bit.
@Mell Thanks! Will do!
