What did I do?
#Calamondin I think I sent Miss Celie to the upper room. I bought it last summer and had her outdoors and overwintered indoors. I put her back outside a few weeks ago, repotted in new soil, fertilizer and she faces South and gets 8+ hours of direct sunlight. The newer leaves are curling, turning yellow and crispy. Although the older leaves look just fine and she's standing up straighter (she used to lean and had to be supported). Help!!

@Alexandyr124 I was going to say the same... Or needs a drink. I don't have the right space (or climate! Lmao 🤣) to have mine outdoors, so she's under a grow light, but definitely looks like a light or heat issue to me

@WhoopsiDaisy I'm sure she will Angee! 🥰 The slightly frazzled leaves won't heal themselves, but she'll soon put out new ones!

@WhoopsiDaisy you are in Denver? Do you have a moisture meter? Having lived there, my first thought is that your plant’s soil is going to dry out much more quickly outside given the altitude and the strength of the sun. Water it and then check the soil with a moisture meter daily for a week to get a sense of how quickly it’s drying out outside… the taco curl leaves usually indicate it’s trying to protect itself from moisture loss because of strong light and dry soil.

I agree with Aly. Most likely not getting enough to drink. I also noticed that you really need to prune it quite a bit. That is a very spindly trunk trying to hold up more than it should for its size. Also pruning will help to not only strengthen the trunk but the roots as well. It will give Miss Celie a chance to focus her energy in much needed support by building a strong foundation. She will thank you for it with greater rewards in fruits to come.
