Droopy leaves and turning bright green

Hi there, I’m not experienced with plants. But always wanted to have a Bougainville in my balcony. I got it almost 2 weeks ago. I haven’t repotted yet. Since then it has started to drop the bracts and leaves are turning light green/yellowish and they look droopy. What is wrong with it? Any tips? #NewPlantMom #Bougainvillea

Fading of the leaves color can indicate under-watering and your details indicate it’s been 12 days. It can also indicate not enough sunlight. the pot from the photo looks pretty dry so I would suggest increasing the watering to once a week as well as allowing it to get at least 1-3 hours direct sun a day. She doesn’t look too bad so it’s definitely fixable!
Thank you so much. I have watered twice since I got it. We are in a heat wave and I was scared of overwatering. I will following your recommendations :)
