Hello! In my area this plant is grown as an annual and not a perennial, so maybe it’s just reached about the end of its lifecycle? I’m not an expert, but my experience has been that once it gets hot these don’t do so well and tend to dry up and die off. Perhaps if it’s produced any seeds you’ll get some new ones next spring! Others may wish to chime in on their experience.
I have a pot of them and they are actually becoming more vibrant, if anything. It's grown as an annual here too. I'm still new to plant care, but has it had fertilizer recently? It might need more nutrients or repotting.
@FunDeathcap83 I have repotted and fertilized it. I’m hoping it was just from the storms that came through my area causing it to be overwatered. I’m moved it to inside for now and hopefully will see change soon.
I would keep it outside in the full sun. I think that is what they crave. I would give it a few days and see what f it perks up. I let mine go without water too long and it dried up, but then came back. They seem to drink a lot of water if in the hot sun
