I have some woodsorrel, it goes dormant for a few months snd comes back each spring!
My kiddo gave it to me a few years ago and it comes back every spring! (:
It takes time to make sure your plant is acclimating. Just make sure that your soil drains well and doesn't retain too much water. If the leaves are turning yellow, you want to make sure that the soil is draining.
I keep mine in an east windowsill.

I’d say time is the biggest factor! Giving it consistency in care and making note of the plant’s condition will help you start to see positive signs.
