I think my friend here got crown rot.
Iβm not quite sure though. He seems to be surviving but I want to know if there is any recover after this. Or will his health keep declining slowly. I havenβt been giving him much direct sun light. And watering οΏΌscarcely because I donβt want to over water.
6ft to light, direct
2β pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
Definitely not root rot! I agree with @sarahsalith
@sarahsalith yea that was my though too, but it really doesnβt make any sense to me because I had it in a pretty dark spot.
@Sassylimey thatβs good to hear at least. I was really worried about that
@Seddybear but make sure it's not too dark- these are tropical plants that need bright light and lots of humidity. If there's not enough light, they'll die.
@sarahsalith yea Iβm going to try giving it more light ,Iβll keep update on it. My thinking was having it in βpart shadeββ¦ (which was more like full shade looking back on it).. because I was thinking they would be under a canopy of leave and branches from the trees it would be on. Thank you for giving your perspective.
@Seddybear I hope you can find its happy spot. It is beautiful and unique!
