#euphorbia #planttherapy I don't know what's going on wit...
I give it good light i don't water it often and sometimes i give it rooting hormone to help it root in the substrate.
#euphorbia #planttherapy I even repotted it into a gritty soil the first time i've bought it.
@UpfrontDisphyma To thrive, a crested Euphorbia lactea 'White Ghost' (often called a coral cactus or mermaid tail) needs abundant bright light, sharply draining gritty soil, and a strict "soak and dry" watering schedule. Because it lacks significant chlorophyll, its metabolism is very slow, making it highly vulnerable to overwatering and root rot.
I have the same plant and it really does best on a set-it-and-forget-it mentality. I only water it according to whatever schedule Greg gives me for it. Beyond that, it just lives in its own little happy place in a southeast window where it gets lots of sunshine.
I recommend cutting off the brown spots entirely, repotting the healthy parts into fresh, well-draining succulent soil, and letting it recover in dry conditions.
Sometimes the plant just needs to be left alone to do its thing.
