Where to cut this Hoya Carnosa?

I got these cuttings from my aunt and I’m not sure where to chop! I’m confused bc most YouTube videos prop at the leaf and it’s kind of intimidating lol. I read that the little bumps on the stems will form roots but I’m unsure. I’ll probably be water propagating these :) Thanks!

There's so many ways to prop hoyas! These are fine if you want to prop them as is. If you want to chop them into 1 node cuttings and grow out a bushier pot quicker, I doodled on your pic, jsut note one would be a bare stick (which is totally propable). Other ways would be multiple nodes in the substate (sometimes easier for smaller plants), lay them flat on the top of substate (better for upside down leaves).

I think it's nicer to cut down to 1 node at the top for larger leaves, usually you'll get some closing spacing the first few leaves as opposed to the vining spacing. (That's the way you're describing in the YouTube videos).

I don't remove leaves on like the other comments suggested, would shudder doing that with some of the expensive nodes I have purchased. πŸ˜…
The best way to propagate Hoya is to take cuttings that have two nodes. A node is a place where the leaves emerge from the stem. Either place them in a vase with water or into a jar with moist sphagnum moss. Check on them every few weeks but I do recommend changing the water once a week because the oxygen dissolves in water and is used by the plant. When you have a good root system, pot them. The ones you were given each have two nodes already. The stems really only need one leaf so you could pluck off leaves to exposure a node if needed.
kitty!! (i came to give you advice but @GnarlyJacaranda has hit it right on the head so i figured i’d gush over your sweet little kitty toe beans! obsessed!)
