Scale or scab?

New plant person here with my new snake plants. The first pic I think is obvious, the 2nd one in the single orange dot kind in the middle there. I looked at them and assumed those marks on the first one were like scar tissue, it could have been bumped or scratched during its journey to the store. But then I gave them both a better look at home and decided I wasn't so sure. None of the pictures on Google made them look this small but I'd like advice from someone woth more experience than myself.

The 2nd picture on the right where there is a brown spot, it could be.... Try scraping it.. And with me, when in doubt I would treat, the solution will not hurt the plant, but the pests will...
Hello! Welcome to the #GregGang. You can find out by using a q-tip soaked with rubbing alcohol and rub the area. If it turns brown then it is scale. If it is scale, you will have to treat it with a copper based solution. Captain Jack's have a pre-made bottle. You'll have to do it several times! Or if you can see the actual scale itsself you can use something to scrape it off, but you should still treat it! And check all your other plants!! You can also google how to treat scale on plants and get a step by step outline... Hope this helps!! They are hard bodied, and harder to get rid of... 🐞ðŸŒĩðŸŠī🏜ðŸŒŧðŸĶ‹
@HummingbirdMint what about the 2nd picture where the spotty in question is already brown? Are these spots you would question on your own plants?
