Should I behead these plants?
I have a sedeveria letizia and palmer sedum that have gotten pretty leggy! The sedum has pretty much been like that the whole year I've had it, but the letizia us really noticeable. Should I chop them, and where to if so? I've never successfully propped a succulent from a chop like this before, so I'm reluctant. #succulentlove #succulentsquad #greggang #sedum #sedeveria
@vvvelo the first pic is the sedeveria letizia! with the sun we had recently the stem has gotten very sunstressed even though the leaves haven't.
im very tempted to leave the sedum as is, it does look like a little palm π₯°

@incognico I like this Letizia. I would remove the bottom leaves. I really like it look.
@PlantLovva oh!! they look so happy, did you pop them straight into soil or dry them out first? ive let mine callous in the past and have then had issues with them not rooting at all π
@vvvelo since its an echeveria hybrid i think its *supposed* to grow more compact.. its top-heavy at the minute and a couple stems have snapped previously. i might chop a few and leave the rest π€
@PlantLovva i certainly have enough rosettes that it couldnt hurt to try at least... my leaf props have historically gone pretty poorly too, though, so i feel you there π
@incognico tbh I really like how your Letizia looks like. Iβd like to have similar Echeveria tree π€©π€©π€©
@FitBrowallia ive already chopped one π€« as much as id have liked to leave them as is, the weight of the plant was too much for it to support!
@incognico you did whatβs best. Take a after picture
