Are red root on a lucky bamboo healthy?
Just wondering when I was cleaning out the pot for my lucky bamboo I noticed that some of the roots are red-ish. Are they healthy or not healthy? Idk π€·πΌββοΈ @sarah10orio #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #NewPlantMom

When the plant gets mature and older, you will have more roots with such color. Initially, you will see some roots in white or brown colors. However, as the plant starts to grow in the pot, you will see red-orange-colored roots on it.
As long as you donβt see any yellowing/blackening of stalks, thereβs nothing to worry about π
Although, make sure to use distilled water as certain waters can cause damages to the stalks. I would keep an eye on the yellow-ish stalk you have in the front, though. π

@Rintintrinn I agree with @kscape on this. She is the plant queen like Sarah is. I adore them both.
@kscape is right. And @KikiGoldblatt is so sweet.
