Crispy Leaves

Hi! I am growing a Blue Star Fern, and her leaves are a little bit crunchy/crispy to the touch. No yellowing/browning as far as I know, and I water her about every 3 days. Does anyone know if this is normal or if there is something I should change? Thanks! #FernFriends #BlueStarFern #Fern #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewPlantMom #PlantAddict

@gracekelly I have 2 of this species of fern, and I would say that the texture of the leaves is kind of papery, which is partly why I find them fascinating. Also, when the leaves are not happy, it's really obvious and they become very easy to remove. So I think Blanche is probably doing fine. Has she got new fronds growing? πŸͺ΄πŸ’•
@LuxuryMint Amazing, thank you! Yep, she has 3 new fronds growing as of now. I figured that she was doing okay but wanted to make 1000% sure. Thanks so much!
@gracekelly that's great she has new fronds 😍. I love ferns, I collect as many as possible within my budget ☺️
@LuxuryMint definitely!! and same with me, I used to just try to find them on hikes but decided i needed some of my own hahaha :)
