Hmm I actually couldn't find this on their list(neither the toxic nor non toxic lists), but I don't know all of the "common" names for this. I looked for both string of buttons and Ivory tower but couldn't find either. They have other crassulas (ovata/jade) listed as toxic tho so I'd bet on this one also being toxic.
@WickedValkyrie Itβs actually really weird with the naming/categorizing of plants. I really wanted a Jasmine, which is an irritant to dogs and I looked all over and found a βStar Jasmineβ which are non-toxic to dogs and cats. I was trying to figure out if this was a similar scenario, but the ASPCA has no words for any Crassula Perforata specifically. π©
Its common names are String of Buttons, Necklace Vine and Stacked Crassula. It is not the same plant as Babyβs Necklace which is Crassula rupestris. Everything I have found that I feel is from competent sources indicates that the toxicity is undetermined. If it were me, Iβd play it safe and keep it away from my pets.
@TruthfulApricot Exactly my thoughts, thank you for the insight!
