Fertilizer?
Hello! I have a quick question. My florist kalanchoe plant flowers just wilted. i deadhead it and also cut back a couple of stems and old dead leaves. (my friend gifted it to me for my birthday about a month ago) when i first got it it was in the smallest pot ever.. i have since repotted it in a bigger pot and different draining soil) it is now growing shoots. Im wondering if now would be a good time to fertilizer it, or should i wait til my next watering day? which is next week. (Ps some photos)
Also if yall have any advice or how I can take care of it please lmk! #SucculentSquad

@LargeBanana84 you can wait until the next watering. I donβ use regular fertilizer on my plants. I feed them miracle grow plant food every other watering. Itβs milder than fertilizer and works just as well. Kalanchoe prefer bright indirect light well-draining cactus/succulent soil and only water when the soil is completely dry to the touch. Keep them at normal room temperatures between 65Β°F and 75Β°F. Good luck
For floral Kalanchoe I use grow lights, full-spectrum LED light providing 6,000 to 6,500 Kelvin. Position the light about 16 inch above the plant and leave it on for 12 to 16 hr . Allow the soil to dry completely between watering days and here are two good fertilizer options. Both of them affordable. One liquid one solid ( slow release food ) good luck and best wishes
