Getting up there

I love my two sweet climbers, my philodendrons Florida green (Verdi) and bipennifolium (Lydia). I'm so proud of them. But they're nearly at the end of their miss poles. My bipenn is already there, and I know she's going to snap for the growing season. Both will. I really don't want to cut them. Any ideas? #philodendron #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict

I wouldn't want to cut them either they are beautiful!

Have you considered putting one on each side of the fireplace and having them climb up over the mantle on more moss poles? You could and they would look beautiful. Of course you would not be able to use the fireplace but....

You could even do them over a window. I have one of my windows full of climbing Hoyas and they climb up over the curtain rods. I love climbers and don't cut one either so I have different kinds of moss poles stretching around my house and just add to them as the plants grow. I have roughly 30 climbers so I have many moss poles!

The photos are up over my TV these are old photos the two vines have almost met they have about 1 foot to go.
Then I am going to let them grow together and cross over each other to frame my TV. It's working it just takes time but it's fun to watch their progress.

Had to edit my photos won't go through
@SuperbRaspfern, I hadn't thought about that. They're usually kept in different areas. I might get some hooks once they go past the top of the poles, and just guide them up over the fireplace. I'll have to figure it out for my monstera soon, too, lol. Thanks!
@wolfqueen Your welcome, if you do it I can't wait to see it, you should be very proud the are gorgeous healthy plants ! ๐ŸŒฟโค๏ธ
@SuperbRaspfern, thank you! Yeah, I'll take pictures, whatever I do. I thought about maybe a living wall, but I don't know.
Extend your moss pole then trail around the room
