Pruning?
This #PurplePitcherplant is my first #CarnivorousPlants and Iβve been slowly trying to learn more about its care. I noticed a few months ago it shot out one new (huge!) pitcher, while some of the others have been turning brown and shriveling up. So, I got some better/new soil and have been keeping it moist, and have noticed new growthβyay! But Iβm not sure what I should do with the older pitchers that have browned and are shriveling up. Would love some advice and pointers! π

Hi!! That's awesome, I love that you started your carnivorous plant journey with a Sarracenia (best choice!!) ! For the crispy pitchers, just trim them off. Be careful that when you're trimming them off you're not cutting off the growth point on the rhizome. Basically, don't cut at the very base of the pitcher, go a little up.
For the ones that aren't completely crispy yet, you can wait until they're fully crispy to trim those off. I wouldn't cut them off until they're fully crispy just in case they're digesting bugs in them and providing nutrients to the plant still. If you dont like it for aesthetic reasons, you can always just cut the brown part of the pitcher off.
If you've got any more questions I'm happy to help π
