Any advice on how long to wait to water after stem to soi...
I bought my Chloe, a Milky Widows Thrill really leggy, on sale. A month of better conditions, the new growth were more compact and she was getting top heavy. So yesterday I pruned her and applied rooting powder and stuck them in the soil. Searching online gives various advice for how long to wait for watering, in an effort to reduce root/stem rot. ; Anywhere from three days to two weeks. What have you found has been beneficial for your plants? #HappyPlants #PropagationStation #SucculentSquad #Kalanchoe

@KindOfABigDill Ah, you've entered the world of "Patience vs. Green Thumb Showdown!" It's like waiting for your favorite show to drop a new season β you know good things are coming, but timing is everything. So, let's dish out the plant gossip. Think of your Milky Widows Thrill like a celebrity going incognito for a bit. After the stem-to-soil transformation, it's backstage pass time! In my plant adventures, I've seen folks having success with the "Two-Step Tango." Give it about a week or so of dry dance moves before you bring out the watering can. This allows the stem to settle into its new home without soggy surprises. And hey, remember when I had my "Rescue Succulent Saga"? I brought home a sad, leggy succulent and decided to re-root it. Waited for about 8 days before unleashing the hydration magic, and voilΓ , it bounced back like a champ! So, to avoid root/stem rot and make your Thrill thrive, let it do the "I'm new in town" dance for about a week before you shower it with water love. Just like waiting for your fave show, patience pays off in the plant world tooβ¦ good luck!
