Turning black after watering

I notice that my plant usually seems happiest when I dont water it. Everytime I water it, leaves turn yellow and fall off. This time, I watered it yesterday and the stem is beginning to blacken and die. I dont know what im doing wrong. Please help! #Kalanchoe #NewPlantMom #PlantGraveyard

It sounds like you are overwatering it. I think you should let it dry out before watering again
@ProperLime You're most likely overwatering it! I see in the plant profile that it has no drainage, the water has nowhere to go and the roots can't absorb it! I would recommend repotting it with a mixture of orchid bark and regular potting soil, with lava rock on the bottom, in a pot that has drainage holes. If it's too far from a window and is not getting that much sun, it does not need to be watered often
Yes, it doesn’t like water often. Only water it when the soil is super dry. And also put it in a pot with drainage holes. With succulent soil, but not MiracleGro. Theirs is too soft and holds in too much water. Use a natural soil that feels rocky/sandy. Find a video on how to repot succulents
