Spots on my calathea concinna leaves, any ideas? 😰

The spots turned up very suddenly within the last week. Do you think they look like a bacterial or fungal infection? No sign of any creatures. Her soil is very dense and holds in to water for ages (still in nursery pot). She lives in a room with 70% relative humidity, 21 degrees C, indirect light. #calatheacrew #help #goeppertia.
Should I repot her in better soil? Remove the affected leaves? Spray with something?
5ft to light, indirect
5” pot with drainage

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. Can you look at her roots by pulling her out of the pot? I’m curious to see if the root ball is wet or rotting a little bit.
roots should be white or yellow in color, and firm to the touch. If they look dark brown, or the squished between your fingers, and that would be a sign of root rot.
I’m not confident enough on infections to report on that. I will say too that you can go ahead and remove damaged leaves if you like as they won’t heal. πŸŒ±β˜€οΈβ€οΈ Good luck!
@RealSimpleMama thanks a lot for your advice. I'm going to have a look at the roots, wish me luck!! πŸ˜…
@RealSimpleMama I unpotted her and was surprised to find all the roots looking good, no rotting ones at all. I decided to repot her in a airy chunky jungle mix , and have been removing the affected leaves. Here are some pics of the lesions under a hand lens. @mal9 do you have any ideas what could be going on here? πŸ’•πŸͺ΄
@LuxuryMint that’s great news! And no chance that anything can be dripping on her? That looks so strange to me.
You can also sit the whole plant on something white like a sheet or paper, and tap around on the plant to see if anything falls to the white. Sometimes it can help if you have teeny tiny pests. What does it look like under the leaves?
@RealSimpleMama I've looked really carefully with the hand lens under the leaves and can't see anyone. There's nothing above her either. I suppose maybe it's fungal or bacterial. It is quite humid in here, usually 70% relative humidity. Will try the tapping onto white paper idea, thanks a lot πŸ’•πŸͺ΄
@LuxuryMint man that’s so weird. I mean. I’m glad you don’t have an obvious pest but I’m sorry we still don’t have answers! Sounds like it must be a fungal thing of which I am no help. Hmmm let’s see #help #infection @TexanExpat any ideas?
@mal9 ooh I didn't think of oedema! You are correct there is not much airflow in this room, because I'm scared to open the window in case all the plants hate the cold draft. I wonder what size fan would be appropriate..πŸ€”. @RealSimpleMama and @mal9 thank you so much for your help πŸ‘πŸ’—πŸ’•πŸͺ΄
