Splotchy leaves

My Syngonium Wendlandii has a few leaves that look like this. She’s in leca and has developed water roots. Any idea what could be wrong?

To remove white stainsoff off of the Syngonium Wendlandii’s leaves, experts recommend using a vinegar and water solution. For more information: https://balconygardenweb.com/best-tricks-to clean-water-stains-from-plants/

I never use diluted vinegar on my plant’s leaves, so test it first.

I hope your gorgeous plant will live long and prosper.
Hi Stephanie!

Do you mean the itty bitty dots? It could either be an adjustment to being in leca or a pest.
I can’t tell if those are pests but probably so- I’d neem & wipe down all the leaves & stems.
Welcome to Gregs Stephanie! Your Syngonium Wendlandii is gorgeous! Plants growing in LECA are less likely to have pest. The low risk of pest, is one of the many advantages of growing houseplants in LECA.
πŸ’§If water get on this plant’s velvety leaves it will form small white spots or stains, so never mist it. For more information: https://goodplantcare.com/syngonium-wendlandii/
