Plant ID

Can anyone ID this plant for me? I’ve gotten three different answers on this app 🀣 #SucculentLove #identify #SucculentSquad

@NoClue @LeafMeAlone420 well it's definitely not a Hoya 😜
It's not a regular Crassula ovata either. At first I thought maybe a Crassula falcata (propeller plant), but that doesn't look quite right either. It's definitely some type of Crassula, might need to wait until it's a bit healthier looking to determine anything more specific. The leaves look pretty wrinkly and floppy, and that soil looks too peat heavy. Get it some good gritty cactus type soil and stick it somewhere it'll get direct sun.
It's really hard to tell from the photo. Is there anyway you can take a clearer picture, maybe one that shows the leaf surfaces better?
@stephonicle does this help?
You need to take a clear picture in a brighter location
I popped each photo in google search (often more accurate than Greg, sorry Greg)
@LeafMeAlone420 it’s the same plant 🀣
@LeafMeAlone420 I’m cracking up, this made my morning.
Sorry no help here πŸ˜…πŸŒΏ
@stephonicle I’m using the Rosy Cactus and Succulent Mix. Is that a no-no?
@NoClue that's fine! Although I still always add extra grit to commercial bagged soils, even when they're labeled to be specifically for cacti or succulents. I mix equal parts cactus soil and either perlite or pumice rock.
@LeafMeAlone420 wanted to update you. I put the plant outside for direct sunlight and she is FLOURISHING. Her leaves have started turning purple… so I believe we have a crown of thorns plant!
@NoClue have you got any updated photo! How exciting
@LeafMeAlone420 I’ll take one tomorrow! I’m having to water it more often than the app suggests so she got a little wilted 🀣
@LeafMeAlone420 I have to start watering it more often. I moved from Alabama (the land of humidity) and I forget how dry the air is here.
Oh wow look at the change in her! Holey dam!
@LeafMeAlone420 right? And that’s with maybe two weeks of direct sunlight! I was shocked. I thought they were getting plenty of sun on my window sill. I was so wrong.
