Hi Alice...I pulled this information up.
This plant is commonly known as Pincushion Peperomia, Happy Bean, or Green Bean Peperomia. Its scientific botanical name is Peperomia ferreyrae.
It thrives best in bright, indirect sunlight.
Watering: As a semi-succulent, it stores water in its thick, pod-like leaves. Allow the soil to dry out fully between watering sessions to avoid root rot.
Soil: Use a highly porous, well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix.
I will add that, when it says let the soil dry out completely, please do so. Any succulent (semi or not) holds ample water within itself. I'd also rarely fertilize as they tend to thrive on what some people would call neglect. Beautiful plant!

You have a great plant! Mine amazes me every day. Ican't offend it, just guietly going about it's business. On a windowsill packed in with the others. I didn't even give a proper ffowerpot, but it lives guite happily in a refurbished Aquaphor jar(which is a good idea for a pot in a pinch) that wae handy, a few drainage holes,the lid is a good dish below , a little jute to caver the top and a nice economy home is ready. 🏠water, sun fertilizer and attention ,thats it. Follow your heart and the apps , You'll be fine Good Luck! Joan
