How often do I water her?
I last watered Jennifer on January 22nd, when I got her since she most likely wasn't watered at Walmart. I know cacti aren't watered frequently, but when do I water her again? I'm afraid I'm entirely new to gardening and taking care of plants. I want to do well so I can convince my husband that I can have a garden.

Very rarely! Like, maybe once a month. Also, the red top is grafted onto the green part, and cannot live on its own. In fact, it takes a lot of energy from the green part. So don’t feel bad when the red part eventually dies off- it’s totally normal. Mine lived a couple of years before kicking the bucket. I’d love to suggest some other plants that are super easy and very rewarding: golden pathos, heart leaf philodendron, snake plant, false Christmas cactus. They are very forgiving and grow well in many conditions!
Hello! Welcome to the #GregGang #GregFam #MoonCactus . I have one, I wait until the soil is completely dry! Then I bottom water only. The bottom part is VERY susceptible to stem rot! And since it’s too long to describe here, you should google moon cactus history. It is 2 cactus grown together.. it was an experiment so the bottom and top are 2 different cacti… to me it was fascinating!! Again, welcome!!! 😁🌵🪴🏜🌿
