Why are the leaves developing brown spots?

Bodhi, my Manjula Pothos, has brown spots on some leaves.
πŸͺ΄ I've fully inspected for pests and can confirm that this is not due to bugs.
πŸͺ΄ Bodhi recently received a pot upgrade, but nothing has changed in the care routine.
Is this due to the hard tap water or is it due to lack of nutrients? I welcome any suggestions to treat this issue #manjulapothos #help

I suspect a watering issue, probably too much. The new soil can become waterlogged because new root growth hasn’t started yet.
This happens occasionally on all my pothos. And then it stops for a while and then sometimes comes back. I’ve not been able to pin down the reason why. If nothing has changed except the new pot then it’s most likely stress and he needs time to adjust to a new environment. I think @BeeBalm is right, the fresh soil is holding more moisture, something he’s not adjusted to yet. I typically leave the spotty leaves πŸƒ on until they bother me and then remove them. I figure if he’s struggling with new soil and more water he probably needs the healthy part of those leaves to help process the water πŸ’¦ Ofc if they get mushy or look πŸ‘€ like there’s a possibility of mold or bacteria on them then take them πŸƒ off. So I think why it happens to mine now and then is I get a little inconsistent with water and light. I get worried it’s not enough light so I move it to a brighter spot. Then it seems to be drying out so I add more water. Then it doesn’t seem happy so I move it again πŸ˜²πŸ˜‘πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«. Poor things don’t know what’s up πŸ˜† πŸ€ͺ. They like consistency. I had to stop being a helicopter 🚁 mom! πŸ€ͺ
Does the pot have a drainage hole and did you add perlite to the soil? My plant is also being high maintenance at the moment but making sure the soil dries out completely between watering has helped some
