Green peace lily flowers

She's in moderate indirect light, a NE window with a large porch in front. In the summer it catches about an hour of the sunrise but even then they go from white to green in,,, maybe a month? Some of them have even opened pure green, looking a lot like a leaf lol. It's not that I really MIND but I do prefer the contrast with the white blooms. Mostly curious bc I can't imagine she's unhappy?? Look at the size of this leaf and there are 5 more coming in fast 🌿
ADDENDUM I posted this same query earlier, deleted it because I wanted to add tags, and someone tried to reply but greg had a stroke. I just want that person whose tag I don't remember to know you were seen and I appreciate it! #peacelily #planthelp #lightneeds #advice #plantsmakepeoplehappy
@CactusAdjacent could you take another photo of just the lighter leaf in question? I want to see it up close. A NE window with a porch in front doesn’t seem like it would be too much light but it almost looks sunburned to me?? Does it get any other supplemental light?
@CactusAdjacent also do you fertilize? And if so, with what kind? 🌿
@DreamMachine much better lighting in the morning lol. I give it miracle gro plant food (bloom formula) every three ish weeks in the summer. It hasn't had any since early November.
@CactusAdjacent oh pardon me, this is actually the bloom right? Not a light leaf? That shows me for taking a look right before bed, lol. Did the spathe (the β€œleafiest” looking part of the flower) come out that color? Or did it come out white and turn green ish?
@DreamMachine lol the number of times I've embarrassed myself by posting when tired is what fuels my compulsion to triple-check anything I say I'm not πŸ’― sure about, and I totally see the sunburned leaf in that flower πŸ˜‚ They usually come up white, open that way, then slowly go green over the course of 2-4 weeks. Sometimes they're just green, period.
@CactusAdjacent when you were fertilizing, how much of it did you use? Like the full dose, half or quarter dose?

-the flowers starting off white and turning green a month later is a pretty normal aging sign, but I’m especially curious why they would start off green
-or, maybe it’s not getting enough light, and the flower is also turning green in an attempt to help photosynthesize? This is a wild surmise and not backed up by sources, just observation lol

Argh, I need sources. I’m going to reach out to a university extension office and ask them, because now I really need to know!!
@CactusAdjacent ok, while I’m waiting for a response, I think these would be the main causes:

-too much fertilizer. They are light feeders and perhaps an imbalance caused the green
-do you have a light meter? If not, then I can only do that lovely guess of β€œtoo much or not enough light” πŸ˜†
-Too much light: the whole plant is increasing chlorophyll production to protect itself.
-Not enough light: the spathe is turning green in an attempt to maximize photosynthesis in a low light condition
@DreamMachine it's hard to say, I'd guess about half strength in general. I use the Indoor measuring spoon and eyeball half into this detergent bottle I refurbished into a watering can lol. It's not a full gallon, I'd guess ΒΎ
