Does this plant attract flies

I don't know if they attract flies but I feel lucky that I have a female jumping spider that frequents this tree daily. There is also a good size grandaddy long legs that lives in it too.
Hi Steven, I don’t have a cornstalk but I have 3 other varieties and I’ve not seen flies on any of mine and they’re all outdoors. Looking at your plant id tag, it says in pot with regular soil and no drainage. If you’re getting flies it might be from that (water). Dracaena bed to be in soil that is very airy and a draining pot. Their roots are very susceptible to rot and they hate sitting in water. I mix my soil- 60% cactus/succulent soil from Home Depot, and 49% Perlite or Pumice. They’re roots soil in your photo looks pretty dense and that retains a lot of water. I might suggest repotting to see if that helps.
