Mosquito bit tea?

οΏΌ I’m curious if anyone has used the dunks for House plants. I’m reading that you can put a quarter of one in a gallon of water and soak and it will work the way the bits do and will not spoil the way the bits do after a few days 🀒. I’ve always used the tea, and refrigerated the concentration after making it, but it’s a pain to have to store it in the refrigerator and dispense it into each gallon of water. If I can just toss a dunk in and it will work as well I might do that. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #TheWateringHole
I’m curious too, following
It was too much of a pain for me. I switched to fungus gnat death drops by happy happy houseplants. It comes with a convenient little apothecary dropper and I put it in my watering can with every watering.
@MamaLinne oh my gosh, thank you. And it works well? The tea is a lot when you have over 100 plants😭
@Just1More it works GREAT. I use it with every watering and have had very very few gnats. I also wait to water until my soil is 80-90% dry, which helps. And I always use high quality potting soil that’s heavily amended with perlite and orchid bark so the soil doesn’t stay soggy!
I’m confused
@MamaLinne I know where mine are coming from. They are everywhere outside. The problem is always in the propagations that need to stay moist.
@MelodiousMint29 what about?
@Just1More is this to prevent fungus gnats?
@user141fc969 it sounds like some people use it to prevent them, but I have an impressive infestation 😞
