Dying Plant?
Help! I think one of my office plants is dying. Is there anything I can do? I missed one day of watering when I was out of town a month ago and my plant has been on the mends since then. It is possible I may be overwatering it, since I’ve watered it a few more days than what it recommended. I’m a plant novice, if you couldn’t tell!

0ft to light, indirect

5” pot without drainage

Last watered 1 week ago

If you continue to water frequent, the plant will eventually experience root rot, because of the excessive moisture in the roots and soil.
I would repot to a better draining soil (potting mix with perlite is my go-to) and let the roots completely dry before watering again.
Allow the soil to almost dry out, and then begin a proper watering schedule! Start by watering once a week :)
Also anyone is free to chime in, but I think he may be ready for a bigger pot? Check his roots before, if you do end up repotting. No more than 2” of what is currently in (if it’s in a 4 inch pot, get a 6 inch) 🪴💕

@kscape thank you for this. I will be on the lookout for a new pot this weekend!
