Vinca Not Reproducing

I’ve tried multiple times to take the pollen from a flower and put it into another using a skewer. I have been unsuccessful in creating seed pods. I have watched so many youtube videos on how to do it and it’s just not working for me. I’m getting sick of wasting my flowers. Any advice would be very much appreciated. You can try using a small soft paintbrush, it should pick up and transfer pollen more evenly.
Some modern plants have been bred to produce an abundance of flowers but not seeds, so there is that to consider as well.
Keep trying, hope you get some results.
