Hey, guys! This is my first plant that I am taking on. I ...

2ft to light, indirect
10” pot with drainage
Last watered 4 years ago
WOW! I’ve had it both ways where my repotted plants have been shook for awhile afterwards, but some (like my golden pothos) have thrived (thriven??? Lol) immediately after getting a bigger pot and new soil. In fact, because it’s been hit or miss, I’m super worried to repot a couple I know could really benefit from a little more room…… I’m kind of a coward. EDIT: I can’t stop staring at these roots, homie. Amazing.
woah yeah that definitely needs more room lol i only have one plant right now but my moms bringing me to the store in about 10 minutes and im hoping to beg her into getting me 2 or even 3 more plants instead of just 1 more but your plant will be a lot more happy in its bigger pot πŸͺ΄πŸ™‚
Thanks! I just picked him up yesterday and wasn't sure what his root situation was based on his tiny pot. I was def blown away when I pulled him out! I hope I made the right decision repotting him even though he isn't adjusted to my apartment yet.
i think it depends!! my succulents and ficus pumila take repotting well but my pilea will be upset for a while- he’s finally getting better rn. for future reference try not to water for the first day or so bc there may be damage to the roots and it can invite rot ^^ even if cudi gets sad after the repot, he’ll recover in a couple weeks so its nothing to worry about. also welcome and glad you could join our #PLANTMAFIA !!
Those are HEALTHY roots! Congrats!
@Kaitlyn28 looks like you got some more!! Yay!!
