Why are the tips turning white on staghorn ferns

I don't know why but my staghorn ferns tips are turning white even on older leaves should I be worried? It's been a week and I think it's spreading? #staghornfern #help #helpneeded #isthisnormal

@SpikeKing19 Hello 👋 Vincent! This is what I found out:

The whitish-gray trichomes on the leaf surface is normal for Common Staghorn Fern (Platycerium bifurcatum) and other Platycerium but if you see dark leaf tips appear they are due to a fungal issue , probably due to heavy, moisture retentive soil. Staghorn Ferns need air circulation around the roots as well as the entire plant. I know that garden centers often sell them planted in soil but I've always removed mine from pots and mounted them to wood.
Looks like normal new growth. Should darken as it ages.
@TwistedThreads could it be spores because they look like I can peel th off
