I used alcohol on my snake plants that had scale. I removed a little bit of the stem, directly under the scale.  It worked, no more scale!

Germ x is great for killing scale! Dap a qtip in the germ x and the put it directly on the scale and the next day they are dead and either fall off or you can brush it off
