Who else is late to the #outdoorgrowing plans?
I finally got around to drawing out my first map for my #veggiegardens. I am behind on getting some seeds in the ground, and haven't started anything inside, but my favorite farm will have cold weather seedlings available on Thursday so I needed to get a move on.
I did check on all my #rhubarb and #strawberry plants and they wintered over beautifully. Unfortunately there is rain in the forecast most of the week so I may not get much more done out there.
I am still excited to get planting and I think I am going to be a bit braver this year with more companion planting. I also got some new gardening goodies I'm excited to try out!

No greenhouse yet! I may start with a small one in the next couple years. The goal/dream is to have a large one attached to our barn when we build it, but that's a ways off.

Same here re greenhouse, I haven't got one, it only exists in my dreams at the moment! Hopefully your children will catch the gardening bug and they will develop a love of plants too. I've been doing gardening with my nephew, he's two, and he does love it, so adorable when he chooses his own plants at the garden centre 😍💝🌿💚
@LuxuryMint they love harvesting and digging! The planting can get a little disorganized with them so some mornings I just need to do it myself. But they will come with me to get our plants this week!
@LuxuryMint only cold weather plants for now, so kale, broccoli, lettuce, some herbs and flowers, etc. I can do warm weather plants mid-May.
