#succulentsquad #succulentlove I think i finally got rid ...

Although it got really wrinkled when i gave it the liquid synthetic mix with water even though i gave a little of it the leaves are wrinkled and soft even when i bought it and have it deliver to my house (the stems are also wrinkled) so i wonder if it's okay to wait 2 days or more to give it water now? (My explanation on how i got rid of the scale colony: I took it out of its pot and remove and rinse off the dirt from it's roots scrub the stems with alcohol with a toothbrush and i also scrub the up and the undersides of the leaves and then repotted it into new soil and on the weekend i asked my mom to buy the liquid synthetic and then i use a little bit of the liquid synthetic and then mix it with water and then poor a little into the plants soil then a few days it started to show wrinkles and then that's thursday yesterday i repotted it into a slightly small pot and i had to cut some of the other plants stems to the firm flesh of the plant and then propagate it on water in a cup until it develops roots.

So, to be completely honest, I think taking it out of its pot, scrubbing every inch with a toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol, then also treating with systemics was major overkill. Scale can pretty easily be picked or wiped off, scrubbing it like you're cleaning a bathtub isn't necessary and will just harm the plant. All you need is a q-tip soaked in alcohol, then swipe along the stems and leaves with just enough pressure to remove the scale insects. OR you can treat with systemics. You don't need both. Fortunately jade is resilient as hell, so it *should* eventually recover. Just go easy on the pest treatments and NO scrubbing 😜
