Propagation question
New to this process of growing a propagated plant, will the long root break off if it gets too long? #PropagationStation #help #GregGang #NewPlantMom
2ft to light, indirect
4β pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
No itβs gonna keep growing but wait till u have Atleast 4 roots to insure that it will stay alive in soil and gradually add soil to the water to make the roots soil roots instead of water roots cuz they die if u place them directly sometimes but just to be safe if anything place the plant in a drained pot with one under with water so u can just lift it and itβs already in soil ong I sound confusing hope this helped

How long has it been in water? The long root should not break off. You'll probably pot it carefully anyway (don't we all?). As long as you keep changing the water (tip: I like to add 1 drop...and I mean from an eyedropper) of Hydrogen Peroxide to the water ever time I dump the old and replace with fresh. It seems to have a positive reaction to that hint of oxygen. We all watch our propagating plants with excitement. Alas it's true...a watched pot never boils.π

Iβm approaching this from the angle that you mean will it come off when you try and take it out since the hole is so small, if thatβs the case then itβs definitely possible and you might consider moving to a container with a wider opening before itβs too substantial to remove
