Okay…what exactly is happening here?

#Kalanchoe I’ve never owned this plant before, so I’m not really sure what’s going on. They’re flexible, not pointy or sharp. My theory is that they’re roots?

What’s happening? Does it need fixing? Do I need to do anything about it?

Mine has LOTS Of these Ariel roots and idk why it won’t bloom again? I think it wasn’t getting enough direct sunlight and I was over watering?
