Bird of Paradise leaf still not opening?
Hey everyone! I think I’ve asked a question about this before, but my BOP has a large new leaf that still hasn’t opened a tiny bit since growing. Looking back at pictures and it’s been at this same state for at least 3 to 4 weeks. Any idea what might be slowing its growth? Potential sunlight issue water issue? At a loss for what might be going on :/

If the leaves of your bird of paradise are not opening, the problem could be low light conditions, underwatering, low humidity, or severe pest infestation. Provide bright indirect light, increase humidity to at least 50%, and water the plant once every 1-2 weeks to encourage the leaves to unfurl.

I know with other types of plants spraying the leaf with water can encourage a stuck leaf.
I would do everything @KikiGoldblatt, and maybe try spraying the leaf after.
