I noticed the bract / quill on mine doing the same thing. While researching, I learned that it does that when its nearing the end of its cycle, so it a natural part of the process. I also learned that before its completely done, it will put out some pups around the base! Ive been eyeballing mine everytime I walk by to see if she has started reproducing yet.
Thank you! After I posted this, I googled it and learned so much about her! She is producing pups now. 🥰
