My pink polka dot plant has recently had some falling lea...

The plant has been growing and seemingly healthy since I’ve gotten it, but the past week or so the bottom leaves have been getting more pale in color and are falling off. I’m not sure if I’m over/underwatering, too much/not enough light, something else, or if it’s just normal? Again, my normal routine was fine for it and then it suddenly started acting like this… it does get direct sun for a few hours, but not too strong, since it’s on my northeast facing patio. I’ve been bottom watering it on a dish whenever the soil feels dry. #planthelp #PolkaDotPlant #fallingleaves #changingcolor

Possible that either the sun, or heat from the sun, is doing this; mine reacts like this when the sun hits it or if it is next to something that has absorbed the mid day heat and is radiating it back.
@PerfectPinkpoui do you think I should move it to a shadier spot or is it okay? If it’s just a color change, it’s not a big deal. I just don’t want my little baby to die πŸ₯²
These plants like bright sun indirect. They need the sun to maintain their color. The sun can bleach the leaves if it gets to much too. Also make sure you pinch the growing tips off once in a while to help it get bushier or this plant can get pretty leggy.
