Help with propping a #Pinguicula
Hi all! So this #ping #CarnivorousPlants has grown like crazy since I got it a while ago. Now it has these vines with roots coming off. I want to separate them and make new baby pings in new pots but I wanted to make sure that I have the right idea.
This thing is crazy - it started out as one plant, then over time filled up the pot, bloomed about 1000 times, and now looks like a ton of smaller plants.
Can I safely pull those strands apart and try to root them? What should I do? Itβs in nutrient-free carnie mix and sits in a tray of distilled water. π±βοΈβ€οΈπ¦π¦π¦

If I remember right you are one of the people comfortable with propping in sphagnum moss.
Stick with that just like any other moss prop.
Slightly moist sphagnum and put a leaf or cutting laying on top. Don't bury it it will rot. Cover the cutting for humidity just stick it in your prop box like the rest and mist as needed with your distilled water.
Their leaves are like succulents so never wet when propping!
