What kind of plant is this?
Any idea what kind of plant this is? It's currently vining along my house. It's new and I've never seen it before this year. Is it a type of #pothos or something totally different? It's really pretty and I'd like to know what it is before trying to move it. #plantid #outdoorgrowing #newgrowth
@PrizedSoybean35 Google AI says itβs a This plant is an Aucuba japonica, commonly known as Japanese Laurel or Gold Dust Woman. It also says it loves shade. π
I believe Tina is right. At first, I thought it was a sunburst pothos, but the growing habits donβt look quite right. So Iβm thinking more of your Aucuba. Most pothos have a vining nature and will want to climb on things; this plant doesnβt appear to be that way. If itβs a laurel of any kind (besides bay leaf laurels), they are toxic to humans and animals. So just be careful if you have any little furry friends. π ππΎπΆ
@Luckeecharm1 Tina, how is your Alocasia doing? Has it doubled in size, or gotten any corms yet?
