There is a Lantana in my front yard that I’m going to try to propagate in my backyard. She’s over 20yrs old, and backyard conditions are the same as her current environment. When I researched Lantana propagation, nearly every site mentioned using root hormone. Does anyone have any experience with root hormone powder?

No experience with rooting hormone, but i think they'll root if you let them callous overnight before putting into a glass of water. Refresh every day.
Alternatively, there's a method called air layering. There are air layering balls for them on Amazon. Fill the ball with the desired medium [soil works, i think sphag might work better] and clamp around the stem. Roots should form within a couple weeks. Once it has a decent rootball, plant into soil. It helps to get the clear ones.
Hormone gel and liquid is available too. I think gel is most effective, more consistent coverage

@Araceae @captainstardust both great advice! Do y’all have experience with Lantanas? Thank you for explaining the air layering. I’ve seen them on Amazon , and thought they were for making hybrids. Thank you for the sphagum moss tip.
