Propagated Boston Fern

Hello fellow plant lovers! My beast of a Boston Fern was so mesmerizing, I decided to cut part of her out and start another, following all of the suggestions proposed by the good old internet.

However, she's of course a bit scorched and while I can cut away those fronds, I am really looking for the signs of #newgrowth.

What do you see here as you look at these pictures? She is not as full, but that's because of how much I took out, and I am okay with that for now.
